La production de tous matériaux génère des déchets. D'autre part, tout matériau ayant une durée
d'utilisation limitée, finira par devenir lui meme un déchet. Cette matière d'enseignementtraite l'aspect de la protection de l'environnement et la gestion des déchets et la règlementation en vigueur.
The production of all materials generates waste. On the other hand, any material having a duration of limited use, will eventually become waste itself. This teaching subject deals with the aspect of environmental protection and waste management and the regulations in force.
By the end of this course the students will be able to use ICT correctely to maximize his/her learning, increase his/her motivation and academic achievements. Without ICT, the student is unable to improve his/her 21st century competencies. M. D. SABER

Théorie du champ cristallin :
La théorie du champ cristallin (crystal field theory en anglais) est une théorie qui décrit la structure électronique des complexes de métaux de transition. Ces composés sont pour la plupart des complexes de coordination ou des complexes organométalliques. Ce modèle permet d'expliquer leurs propriétés magnétiques, de spin, d'enthalpies d'hydratation ainsi que leurs couleurs. Cependant elle n'explique pas leur mode de liaison. Elle a été développée par les physiciens Hans Bethe et John Hasbrouck van Vleck dans les années 1930. Plus tard, elle fut combinée à la théorie des orbitales moléculaires pour donner naissance à la théorie du champ de ligands, plus complexe, qui décrit mieux la liaison métal-ligand au sein des complexes de métaux de transition.
