British Literature is a rigorous course in which students will study the early forms of written English and the British tradition in literature. Students will critically read and evaluate various forms and types of texts including plays, poetry, novels, and short stories. Students will also delve into texts representative of some of the literary movements in Britain, namely the Renaissance, Romanticism, Realism, and Modrnism.
