What is a topology ?
Topology is an area of Mathematics, which studies how spaces are organized and how they are structured in terms of position. It also studies how spaces are connected. It is divided into algebraic topology, differential topology and geometric topology.
These some significant series introduces topology, covering topics fundamental to modern analysis and geometry. It also deals with subjects like topological spaces and continuous functions, connectedness, compactness, separation axioms, and selected further topics such as function spaces, metrization theorems, embedding theorems and the fundamental group.

Le but de ce cours est, pour un endomorphisme donné, de rechercher une base dans laquelle son expression sera la plus « simple » possible ou de rechercher les conditions que doit vérifier une telle base. Pour une matrice donnée A, le but est de trouver une matrice semblable à A qui soit la plus « simple » possible.
